The projectleader Wim Kratsborn had a dream: making a film about ‘A story of Europe’. This dream came true on February 24 at the Madou Tower in Brussels when Wim Kratsborn and Duygu Akkaya met with the experts Ettore Deotado from the European Commission, Marigael Duriez and Josef Misfud from EMUNI in Brussels to talk about the dissemination of To-Gather and especially about the film “A story of Europe”.
It will be a film about the double life of Europe as a person from the past and as young people in Europe from the present. The creator of the story and the director of the film is Wim Kratsborn and the head actress is Duygu Akkaya, a young woman from Turkey. Universal Pictures, EMUNI and the European Parliament are interested in financing the film.
It will be a real movie about a past that’s no history, about the turbulent and fascinating life story of Europe and the intercultural dialogue between young people in and outside of Europe.
So after this important meeting in Brussels they are working on the film officially by making a basic outline, organising the finances and gathering the crew. Spotlights will be on and the melodies of Sigur Ros will create the right atmosphere.
