Best Practice for Dissemination and Valorisation

From 2006 till 2009 we have designed, tested and fine tuned ten learning routes for young people between 3 years till 25 years. From 2009 till 2011 the To-Gather project became a KA4 project to implement the learning arrangment in practice.

• One way is to present at conferences
• To join networks as Cice and EMUNI
• To give training to teachers and learners
• To get attention from the media
• Form the experience of the project the best way is to go on the To-Gather Tour across Europe, Northern Africa and the Arab world and to bring To-Gather to the young people at all places.

At the spot a festival of one day is organised to:

• Gather with other To-Gather people
• Present the results from practice
• Give a symposium about the theoretical background
• To give workshops about practical examples
• To perform creative products and results such as dance, music, exhibition, art, photopgraphy, clips and film.
• To promote the implemenation and the valorisation of To-Gather in practice

Festivals were organised at in Den Bosch, the Netherlands on 9-11-2009, at Liverpool Hope University in Liverpool on 7-5-2009, at Haslev Seminarium in Haslev, Denmark on May 17.

Coming soon the festival at the Gymnasium in Jurmala , Latvia on September 17, at the University of Istanbul on October 22 and furthermore at ESEC in Coimbra, Portugal in January 2011, at the International Arab University in Syria in March 2011, at KATHO, Belgium in April 2011 and at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia in May 2011

During the To-Gather Tour a group of To-Gather people are on the road such as the projectleader Wim Kratsborn, workshopleaders as Marijke van de Hel, Iveta Kovalcikova, Henrik Bak, Darja Stirn, Burcu Akkaya, Sandra Rone, Hugo Verkest, Nilufer Perbemciogli, Kinga Toth and Susana Goncalvez, the dancers Margarita Kamjaka and Jeffrey Hoofs and the beatboxer Jarno Bent and the bands Audiofeel and Vanderlinde. The host of the festivals also contributes with lectures, workshops, presentations and performances.
